A few minutes ago, I found out a very important man or should I say legend of the gaming industry has passed away. Satoru Iwata, President Of Nintendo, died this pass week on July 11, 2015.
The statement reads:
Nintendo Co., Ltd. deeply regrets to announce that President Satoru Iwata passed away on July 11, 2015 due to a bile duct growth.
I just want to pay my respects and say that Satoru was amazing with what he did at Nintendo. Especially, bringing Nintendo back up from the bad days of the Gamecube. Which by the way in my opinion, wasn’t that bad in the few titles it had. Satoru’s legacy, memory, and heart as not only the president, but as a gamer will live forever.
