Just like every other great gaming convention GamesCom this past week is dishing out a ton of information about the latest , greatest up and coming video games. Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengeance sliced back on the video game scene at GamesCom  with more information and a date of February 19th, 2013 was gave as the release date.Ironically, my son’s birthday. So it’s destined for greatness.

This game developed by Kojima Productions and PlatinumGames will bring the Metal Gear franchise into new realms focused mainly on providing an all-new action experience. The game features Raiden from the Metal Gear Universe. This child bred soldier transformed into a cyborg ninja equipped with a katana blade and drove by vengeance.


Like other Metal Gear games it takes place in a future where global power is an issue. Private Military Companies (PMCs) that were supported and controlled by the Patriots have fallen. This lead to a disruptive shift of power across nations. Raiden lives to protect and save lives while this world plunges further into a craze state of warfare.
