Well the preorder is always a big issue when it comes to WWE games. From my favorite Bret Hart Exclusive from Best Buy, The Miz’s Awesome Attire..bleh, to The Rock first time ever in Hollywood fashion. This year THQ are giving us Iron Mike Tyson.
Why does Mike Tyson fit the build. Isn’t he a boxer. Well yes but back in the Attitude Era of WWE, Mike Tyson did his share of antics with DX. He is most notable for a slight feud with Austin and DX’s HBK. Mr. McMahon signed Mike Tyson as the special referee in this classic WWE World Championship match up. On one night of WWE RAW Tyson delivered a knockout blow to Chris Jericho and was presented a honorary DX shirt by DX themselves.
Though all of this seems to make him a DX Member; Mike Tyson on the night of the bout gave Austin a win with a 3 count after an argument with Shawn Micheals(HBK) during the match.
So now here comes WWE 13. You can use Tyson in many ways. Maybe, you continue the history, make up with DX, Take On Austin, whatever skies the limit. Hopefully Story Designer will be improved so we can make it even better. If not we already have the announced WWE Attitude Era mode that is sure to feature Mike Tyson.
