Afro Samurai Game Descendant, Furi Coming Soon

Where have I been?! I just found out about this game, Furi, designed by Takashi Ozaka, creator of Afro Samurai. The game will have smooth tunes with a soundtrack and a cool artistic apporaches. Did I mention it’s boss battle based?! Check out all the press release info,trailers and more below!

The wait is over! Indie team The Game Bakers announced today that Furi, its upcoming all-boss combat-action game, is slated for release on PlayStation®4 and PC on Tuesday, July 5 for $24.99. Featuring character design by Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki and a killer soundtrack from well-known electro bands Carpenter Brut, Danger and more, Furi’s heart-pumping boss battles will challenge gamers’ will with skill-based hand-to-hand and gun-battle combat.

Furi is fast-paced, and requires great timing, reflexes and judgment. With immediately responsive controls, players must attack and counter, finding the right strategy for each boss they confront. Each of the formidable “guardians” has a distinct, surprising combat style requiring gamers’ absolute focus, skill, and split-second timing to defeat them.
