Resident Evil Revelations 2 is bringing you episodic content for horror and Resident Evil fans. I’ve spent plenty my evenings with this game and I have made it past Episode 2. Now ADG brings you the Short And Simple Review of Resident Evil Revelations 2 Episode 2: Contemplation.
Of course Resident Evil Revelation 2 Episode 2: Contemplation continues where Episode 1: Penal Colony left off. Claire and Moire are trying to find a way off the island to safety. You will meet some of the members of TerraSave and other members of the invaded party from the beginning of the story. Natalia makes a vital appearance in both segments between Claire, Moire and Barry. When Barry segments begin, he’s with Natalia just like Episode 2 ended. He wants to further investigate what Natalia claimed to be his daughter’s Moire’s death. This episode put emphasis on The Overseer and how she wants to keep people on the island to further continue her evil plans. Those that play this will also see the mention and a preview of an old nemesis that will be joining the story.
The gameplay in this episode is okay. There were times I felt there wasn’t enough ammo about and was left in situation to tend with my knife and trust me, I was always searching for crates to replenish my supply. The best part is the boss fights. The worst part of this episode was a mission where you had to run to an opening door in a bad design area with little to no time after hitting a power switch. There were obstructions in the hallways and when you consider the running style of this game, then you will understand the pain of this section.
