Guides are developed for almost every game because for every game there is someone playing it for the first time, someone who just wants every achievement or someone who wants to see every secret and every piece of lore the game has to offer. Fallout 4 is the biggest game out to date, not only in open world size but in a number of features in the game. It’s a no-brainer that people and the big fans of Fallout 4 would want a guide. Prima has you covered with their Fallout 4 Vault Dweller’s Survival Guide.
The guide is a hefty thick 543 pages of guide goodness. If you purchase the collector’s edition you get a hardback book and extra goodies such as an exclusive map, poster and more. The collector’s is also offered in an Ultimate Vault Dweller’s Survival Guide Bundle with the Fallout 4 game.
For whatever the situation, when you are navigating the wasteland, choosing equipment and survival gear, crafting and resourcing, and even dangerous encounters, Prima Games Fallout 4 Vault Dweller’s Survival Guide will come in handy.
For me, this guide was very helpful with learning how to build settlements. Something the game itself doesn’t go into much depth within teaching you. Which was weird to me cause this is the first time this feature has been in a Fallout game.

The guide is great but isn’t perfect. I question the layout of the guide. I was going back and forth from the index to my wanted page destination all the time. I’m starting to get the feel of the book’s layout after about 4 hours of use. I still feel future guides of the Fallout series should be better categorized.
