2K today announced full details on the first update for Season 5 of WWE SuperCard, the action-packed collectible card-battling game, including a new event, “Over the Limit,” and Winter Wonderland promotion.
Kicking off Thursday, December 13, Over the Limit is an event that both rewards players for solo achievements and gives all players who participate the opportunity to earn a shared community reward. When the Over the Limit event begins, players collect “Hype” cards dropping from the Draft Board in any match type and bank them toward their solo rewards and a global community reward. Play the Over the Limit mini-game while banking Hype cards to amplify the amount contributed.
Additionally, starting today in line with the update, players can take part in the Winter Wonderland promotion. Through multiple phases, players will be able to use Fusions to combine snowflakes and snowmen cards from the Draft Board, culminating in a Holiday 2018 card that can range from Goliath all the way up to Shattered tier.
